REGULATORY AWARENESS TRAINING

Bespoke Compliance Training

Role-specific training that helps engineering, design and procurement teams make sound, defensible decisions.

Make compliance part of better engineering.

Generic compliance awareness training rarely changes day-to-day decisions. We build focused sessions around your own products, materials and supply chain, aimed at the people who actually make design, specification and sourcing decisions.
The goal is for regulatory requirements to become part of normal engineering and procurement practice, not a separate compliance step bolted on at the end. Sessions are delivered as short briefings, focused workshops or modular programmes, depending on what a team needs.
Engineering: design choices, specifications and technical evidence
Design: material selection, restrictions and safer alternatives
Procurement: supplier evidence, declarations and proportionate challenge
Delivered as short briefings, workshops or modular programmes
HOW TRAINING IS BUILT

From our training repository, or built entirely around you.

Some sessions are delivered from an established repository of training covering the regulations and obligations that come up most often, ready to run with minimal set-up. Where a team’s products, supply chain or risk profile need something more specific, we build the session around your organisation instead, using your own materials, substances and real decision points as the working examples.
Either way, training works best when it is anchored to something real. For most organisations, that anchor is a developed materials and substance regulatory compliance management plan, so the session teaches people how to use a plan that will actually govern their day-to-day decisions, not a generic compliance overview.

WHAT THE TRAINING COVERS

Educating the people who make the decisions.

We focus training on the teams whose day-to-day choices carry the most regulatory weight, particularly design, engineering and procurement, and on the parts of each regulation that catch people out in practice, not just the headline requirements.

Supply chain communications
What has to be passed up and down the supply chain, when it is triggered, and how to avoid the gaps that leave a business exposed.
Preparing scientific dossiers
What evidence-gathering for a registration or notification dossier actually involves, and the pitfalls that turn a straightforward submission into a stalled one.
Core aspects of each regulation
The practical detail behind REACH, CLP, BPR, POPs, DSEAR and related legislation, not just the headline obligations most teams already know about.
Records management
What needs to be recorded, for how long, and in what form, so a compliance position can still be defended years after the decision was made.
Notifications and regulator systems
The practical process for supply chain and regulator notifications, including systems such as REACH-IT at ECHA for EU REACH and equivalent UK routes.
